The company’s development led 2016 to the conception of a new Campus Hilti, which takes into account the transformation of the headquarters’ location: less production, more research and development. Starting with a central forecourt and the main administrative building, further developments can extend outwards: new administrative buildings towards the northeast, “Werk 1” with production to the south and the innovation centre with research to the southwest.

To achieve a hierarchical spatial order, the bright main administrative building and the natural stone training building are free-standing edifices, while the innovation centre, the new office buildings “Office Nord” and “Office Mitte” and the production building “Werk 1” form the texture of the ensemble. These buildings form a network going beyond Feldkircherstrasse, achieving a coherence through their flat, horizontal volumes, the similar typology and seeking a diversity through their varied shell and materialisation.
